If you have more than one type of prospect or more than one process you need to track opportunities through, you may need to create more than one pipeline.

Let's start by getting familiar with the use case.
To understand why someone might want multiple pipelines, let's look at an example:
Let's say your sales team uses ProsperWorks to track new customers through the sales cycle. You also bring in Partners to work with customers on professional services requests. To monitor the interview process with those partners from start to hire, you could use a different pipeline. Maybe you even have a third pipeline for hiring new employees!
Since you move opportunities through pipelines, it may benefit you to revisit the 'Define your workflow' section of the opportunities module. Opportunities carry a business value. You move them through your pipeline from the start to the close of a business deal. So are there more than one such pipeline in your workflow? Are you using ProsperWorks for more than one business effort?
Here are some sample pipeline stages for different business needs as inspiration:
- Contract Sent
- First Meeting
- Partner Meeting
- Term Sheet
- Phone Interview
- First In-Person Interview
- Second In-Person Interview
- Reference Check
- Offer Letter
1. Sign into ProsperWorks and select 'Settings' from the lefthand menu.
2. Scroll down to the 'Customize ProsperWorks' section and click 'Pipelines.'
3. Click the blue 'Create new pipeline' button.
4. In the lightbox that appears, fill in the details for your new pipeline:
In the blank field next to ‘Stage Name,’ enter a stage in your sale cycle.
Below ‘Win Probability %,” you’ll enter the likelihood of getting from this stage to the final stage in your pipeline. An Opportunity in the first stage of your Pipeline will have a lower probability of winning when compared to an Opportunity that you have moved through your Pipeline to the final stages.
5. Repeat this until you've created all of your stages.
6. Click ‘Save’ when you’re finished.
7. Repeat these steps to create as many pipelines as you need.
